Welcome to L.A.W.!!!

The Legal Association of Women (L.A.W.) is a law student organization located on the UMass law school campus. The purpose of L.A.W. is to foster equality within the UMass Law community as well as the community at large through political activism, education, and the sponsorship of events that serve to promote diversity and gender equality.

"The mission of the Legal Association of Women (L.A.W.) is to provide a voice for women's issues within the law school and beyond.  L.A.W.'s internal objectives highlight women's education concerns, aid in career preparation, and encourage a diverse peer support system.  External objectives encompass collaboration with university administration and other student associations, promotion of networking between students and the legal professional community, and participation in various programs in surrounding communities that champion women's issues."
- L.A.W.'s Constitution

Membership in L.A.W. is open to all students.
